School-Based Occupational Therapist (Part-Time)

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School-based Occupational Therapist for a contracted position near Lompico, Ca. Work with a diverse caseload of TK–12th grade students in a dynamic school setting. This part-time position (10 hours per week) provides a fantastic balance, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, individualized support while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience working in school-based environments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of therapy protocols for children and adolescents
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for working collaboratively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort providing both direct and consultative services across a broad range of ages and developmental levels
- Passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential, supporting their academic and daily living success
Key responsibilities:
- Perform assessments, develop treatment goals, and implement individualized therapy plans for students from transitional kindergarten to 12th grade
- Deliver occupational therapy services both individually and in small groups, adapting strategies to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student participation and engagement in the classroom
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Attend IEP meetings, providing expert input and advocating for students’ therapy needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $38.86 to $68.86. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
