This full-time position allows you to make a meaningful impact while working with approximately 3,500 students across a cohesive district of around 500 staff members.
Your expertise as an Occupational Therapist will be utilized in an itinerant capacity, traveling between six diverse campuses to deliver a comprehensive range of OT services. The assignment’s full scope includes roughly .48 OT minutes on your caseload, distributed according to IEP requirements. The position begins August 18, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, with a 40-hour workweek that encompasses both direct and indirect services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, valid Colorado OT license (or eligibility prior to the assignment start)
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services in school-based settings
- Familiarity with IEP planning, development, and implementation
- Ability to travel between campuses and effectively manage an itinerant caseload
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Comfort with technology and openness to discussing teletherapy solutions
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services according to student IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success
- Manage and document caseload activities and student progress
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Adapt services as needed, including consideration of virtual/teletherapy platforms
