Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services within school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric and school-based OT practices
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop and execute therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other therapists
- Document student progress, maintain records, and provide input for IEP meetings
- Adapt interventions to ensure access to curriculum and promote student independence
- Provide support both individually and in small group settings
- Participate in professional development opportunities as available
