School Occupational Therapist - Gilroy, California

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and build positive relationships with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to seamlessly integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise to support student success
- Provide training and resources to educational staff on strategies that promote student independence and access to the curriculum
