Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active state Occupational Therapist license
- Valid state licensure/certification
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy
- Proficient in evaluating, planning, and executing individualized treatment for students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide direct therapy to students with physical, cognitive, or sensory challenges that affect school participation
- Develop individualized goals and treatment plans in partnership with teachers, families, and school teams
- Conduct thorough evaluations and document students’ progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Offer training and resources to help teachers and staff support students within classroom settings
- Contribute collaboratively to a multidisciplinary approach that benefits each child
