The assignment runs from August 3, 2026 through May 26, 2027 (dates subject to change), providing stability and the unique experience of working across multiple grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility in the state
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
- Confident in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to design creative, individualized treatment plans
- Skilled at communication and documentation
- Passion for helping children achieve academic and functional success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver Occupational Therapy services to PreK-8th grade students as outlined in their educational plans
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy interventions to address sensory, fine motor, and self-care skills
- Track student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, contributing expertise to IEP teams
- Consult with educators to adapt classroom environments and routines
- Educate and empower families on strategies to support development
