Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services to students across Pre-K through 8th grade in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students develop the skills needed to succeed academically and function effectively within the school environment.
Caseload & Assignment Details
- Students in Pre-K through 8th grade
- School-based setting
- Full-time schedule
- Onsite services only
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- Active State Occupational Therapy License
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the assignment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to therapy-related recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and school requirements
