Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure (or eligibility) in Arizona
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Adaptability and a positive, proactive attitude
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with educational staff and families
- Provide both direct and consultative services as outlined in student IEPs
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of evaluations, treatments, and outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to holistic support plans for students
- Educate teachers, staff, and families on strategies to integrate therapy goals into the school environment
