Occupational Therapist School Setting - Grand Prairie, TX

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based therapy, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Confidence developing and implementing IEP goals and documentation
- Passion for fostering student growth and functional abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and create individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services within the school environment
- Document progress and adapt interventions to meet evolving needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize each student’s academic participation
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute your expertise to student IEPs
- Educate staff and caregivers on therapy strategies and tools to support student goals
