Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for 26/27 School Year

We are actively seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a specialized school team in Providence, Rhode Island. This role serves students with high needs and severe disabilities and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Position Details:
- Full-time schedule
- High-needs, severe caseload
- Safety-Care Training provided
- Supportive school team and leadership
- Director is ready to interview this week
Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct support to students in individual and group settings
- Assist with data collection, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators and related service providers
- Support students in developing functional, academic, and life skills
Qualifications:
- Active Rhode Island COTA license/certification
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience working with students with significant disabilities and behavioral challenges is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
