Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure to practice occupational therapy
- School-based experience is appreciated but not required; mentorship is available for those new to the setting
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to advocating for and supporting the diverse needs of students
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
- Conducting evaluations and developing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in partnership with educators and families
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Contributing to IEP meetings, planning sessions, and staff trainings as needed
- Educating staff and caregivers on adaptive strategies and accommodations to optimize student participation
