What we’re looking for:
- licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina
- Experience in a school setting or strong interest in pediatric Occupational Therapy
- Proficiency with assessments, IEP development, and the implementation of therapy plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Strong organization and time management abilities
What you’ll do:
- Assess students to determine their motor skill, sensory, or adaptive functioning needs within the school context
- Develop and implement individualized and group therapy sessions in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to craft effective support strategies in the classroom and beyond
- Participate in IEP meetings, communicate progress, and contribute to the overall student success plans
- Provide education and resources to staff, faculty, and parents to promote carryover of therapeutic goals
- Maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
