Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students according to IEP requirements and school guidelines
- Assess and document students’ functional skills, strengths, and needs within the educational setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to specific student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support classroom adaptations and student inclusion
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational and behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and ongoing evaluations
- Assist with transition planning and recommendations for classroom supports
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current OT license in South Carolina or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
