School Based Occupational Therapist - ProCare Therapy
Harvard, IL
ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapists (OTs) for onsite contract opportunities in Harvard, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. We are partnering with local school districts in the Harvard area to support students across a variety of grade levels and educational settings.
These positions provide the opportunity to help students develop the fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills needed to succeed in the classroom while collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams.
Position Details
- Full-time and part-time onsite opportunities available
- 2026–2027 school year assignments
- School-based settings across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Multiple openings with varying caseloads and student needs
- Opportunities may include:
- Mild/moderate caseloads
- Autism support programs
- Early childhood and preschool services
- Life skills and functional classroom settings
- Special education populations
- Pay rate: $50-65 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care, and classroom participation
- Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Requirements
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- NBCOT certification preferred
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary educational teams
