This assignment invites you to work as an itinerant Occupational Therapist within a supportive Special Education Department comprised of talented colleagues. With a caseload of 45 students ranging from preschoolers to high schoolers, you'll encounter varied challenges that promise both personal satisfaction and professional growth. What You’ll Need:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (California or eligible for reciprocity)
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a school-aged caseload (preschool–high school)
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for travel-based roles
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 45 students
- Complete timely documentation and progress assessments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support the development of fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Travel across assigned school sites (itinerant position)
