Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Louisiana Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Prior experience with school-based OT services, including virtual provision, strongly preferred
- Confident conducting reevaluations and PreK evaluations, using various digital tools when working remotely
- Capable of completing IEP documentation and collaborating with educational teams within set timelines
- Experience supervising and mentoring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual OT services for students across all grades, conducting thorough reevaluations to guide educational plans
- Perform virtual PreK evaluations on Fridays
- Dedicate at least one day weekly to crafting, updating, and presenting IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Provide consistent supervision and support to an onsite COTA, ensuring continuity and quality of care
- Communicate regularly with school teams to ensure student progress and compliance with documentation standards
- Engage in a part-time schedule according to contract needs, with potential for extended collaboration following the initial placement
