Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in West Virginia
- Experience in school settings, including serving pediatric populations in grades pre-K–5
- Proficiency in delivering OT services in person; knowledge of best practices in school-based intervention
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively, fostering positive outcomes for diverse learners
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working closely with educators, families, and support teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT assessments and therapeutic interventions for students on your caseload
- Adapt interventions for classroom participation, self-care, and functional mobility as appropriate
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of services and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support smooth transitions for students returning to regular services after the maternity leave period
