Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and legal requirements for special education
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Passion for advocacy and empowering diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address students’ fine/gross motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate inclusive access to curriculum
- Deliver both direct and consultative OT services in classroom and pull-out settings
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation as required by school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Offer training and resources to staff and caregivers on classroom modifications and strategies
