Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school-based setting. You’ll primarily provide supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) while collaborating with educational teams to ensure the highest standard of care for students. This contract opportunity begins August 3, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week.
Your expertise will help shape positive student outcomes, foster independence in educational environments, and support COTAs as they deliver essential therapeutic services throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Georgia
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong background in supervising COTAs and guiding best practices
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor COTAs within the K-12 caseload
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Document progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students in achieving their academic and developmental goals
