This full-time, contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide onsite occupational therapy services from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Work with a diverse group of students in self-contained and resource settings as part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Key qualifications:
- Current licensure and credentials in Occupational Therapy for practice in schools
- Prior experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for collaborating with colleagues and enhancing student independence
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to elementary and middle school students
- Work with self-contained and resource classrooms to support individualized education plans
- Assess students’ needs, track progress, and document outcomes according to school and professional standards
- Work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal student development
- Participate in monthly meetings, professional development opportunities, and roundtable discussions
- Engage in process improvement initiatives for best practice services
