School Occupational Therapist | Joliet, Illinois

Starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of May 2027, you'll be a vital member of the educational team, progressing students toward greater independence and success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License
- Experience or keen interest in working with early childhood age groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
- Prior school-based OT experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to early childhood students in alignment with their IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement goals and intervention plans
- Document student progress and maintain clear, timely records
- Provide direct therapy individually or in small groups, focusing on functional and academic participation
- Participate in meetings, assessments, and professional development as required
- Empower students to develop essential life and classroom skills for greater independence
