Occupational Therapist School Setting in Kelso, WA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Based onsite, you’ll work across elementary, middle, and high school settings, applying your expertise to help learners with a broad range of disabilities—from mild to severe—reach their full potential. The schedule is structured for work-life balance: full-time, five days a week, with consistent hours (7-hour days, Monday through Friday).
This position offers the chance to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and faculty while fostering essential skills that empower students academically, socially, and functionally. Interviews will begin promptly, with flexibility for remote or in-person meeting formats.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license/certification in Washington State
- Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy preferred
- Comfort working with students exhibiting a range of disabilities and needs
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and school teams
- Creative, flexible approach to addressing individual IEP goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop targeted intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services onsite in alignment with IEP mandates
- Partner with educators to integrate therapy techniques in classroom routines
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and professional development opportunities
- Educate and support families regarding strategies to reinforce progress at home
