You’ll engage with a manageable caseload across up to three schools, working with approximately 35-45 students, allowing you to provide personalized intervention in a collaborative educational setting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin professional license for Occupational Therapy
- Educational Certification for school-based practice in Wisconsin
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans supporting students’ academic and functional success
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents on intervention strategies
- Document progress, communicate recommendations, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy approaches to address each student’s unique motor, sensory, and organizational challenges
- Travel between up to three nearby schools as assigned, providing consistent support
