Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington state
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, focusing on enhancing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence in daily school activities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote inclusive educational strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Adapt interventions to suit diverse student needs across general and special education settings
Available Assignments:
- Four-day-per-week role (.8 FTE) from August 28 to June 18, covering the full school year in the South Seattle area
- Full-time opportunity for the second semester (January 4–June 18) in the Southwest Seattle area
