School Occupational Therapist | Kingston, New York
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. Beginning September 3, 2026, and continuing through June 24, 2027, this position is situated in the vicinity of Kingston, NY, offering stability and the chance to make a positive difference day in and day out.
As a valued member of the school-based team, you’ll work 30 hours across five days each week, collaborating with educators and families to enhance students’ abilities and independence in their learning environments. The compensation for this position is between $45 and $50 per hour, with weekly pay for your convenience.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of New York
- Previous experience in a school environment or with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary students according to IEPs and individualized needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop strategies supporting classroom participation
- Assess, document, and report on student progress
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and support positive outcomes for students
