Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active license as an Occupational Therapist in the state
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school environment, or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to document progress, develop treatment plans, and adjust interventions as needed
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable adapting to the unique needs of school-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students identified with occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and other school staff
- Support students with fine motor, self-care, sensory, and functional skills related to the educational setting
- Maintain accurate, timely records and report on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for each student
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students’ growth
