Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students through occupational therapy this summer! Work on a part-time contract basis, providing dedicated care in a school setting near Kingston, PA. The role covers summer school programming, starting with a paid orientation on June 29th and continuing from June 30th through August 6th.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Pennsylvania
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Capability to create and implement individualized intervention plans
- Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting educational goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students ages K–12 in accordance with their IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to address students' developmental and educational needs
- Evaluate student performance and document progress
- Consult with families on strategies for success at home and in school
- Contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive student support
This is a part-time role scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM, allowing for work-life balance and flexibility over the summer.
