An exciting contract opportunity awaits for a skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for making a difference in school settings. This in-person position requires expertise in both pediatric occupational therapy and occupational health, working 35 hours per week starting in mid-October. Your commitment will directly support students’ growth and engagement, fostering independence and success in their daily activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Solid background in occupational health practices
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students
- Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with each student’s educational and developmental goals
- Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Actively contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and school initiatives
