This flexible, part-time role (15 hours per week) is ideal for skilled occupational therapists (OT) and certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA) who are passionate about creating a positive impact in school environments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Illinois licensure as an OT or COTA, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Experience or training in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to partner effectively with teachers, parents, and school support staff
- Understanding of individual education plans (IEPs) and relevant school documentation
- Comfortable working with a varied caseload across K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement evidence-based OT intervention plans targeting students’ learning, self-care, and adaptive skills
- Conduct assessments and effectively document findings to contribute to IEP team decisions
- Provide direct and consultative services, adapting approaches for diverse student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation of all interventions and progress
