The role features a full-time schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week over five days.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP documentation and school-based therapy interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations as needed
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to IEP goals
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and families for optimal student support
- Document progress accurately and maintain compliance with school district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and school team activities
- Contribute to a positive learning environment that promotes student independence and growth
