School Occupational Therapist | Longmont, Colorado
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by supporting their growth and development as an Occupational Therapist for a local school community near Longmont, Colorado. In this contract position, you’ll work onsite with a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels through the end of the 2026–2027 school year.
In this vital role, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support students’ success. With a schedule of Tuesday–Friday, you will help empower students to achieve their fullest potential in and out of the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Comfortable providing assessments, direct treatment, and evaluations for students
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a diverse range of students in elementary and middle grades (overflow evaluations may also be assigned)
- Carry out assessments, develop IEP goals, and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Document progress, collaborate with educators, and provide recommendations and support for classroom adaptations
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough records
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines for school-based OT services
This full-time contract role (36 hours per week, Tuesday–Friday) offers an opportunity to make an immediate impact and build meaningful connections with students and staff while working onsite in a supportive educational environment.
