Qualifications & Certifications:
- Active Washington OT License required
- Background in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with K-12 populations a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional skills within the educational environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain detailed documentation and track student progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to promote student success
- Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and learning environments
