Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active Washington OT license
- ESA certification required
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, and/or teletherapy
- Strong knowledge of pediatric OT interventions for K-8 populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEP/504 goals
- Previous work in educational teams and building rapport with families
- Comfortable with technology for virtual service provision
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy to K-8 students across settings (school, home, and teletherapy)
- Conduct evaluations, write thorough reports, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Adapt interventions to fit in-person and virtual environments
- Provide consultative support to staff and families to maximize student access and participation
