Qualifications:
- Valid and active Washington (WA) Occupational Therapist license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential required
- Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy, teletherapy, healthcare, and/or home health settings
- Ability to work effectively with K-8 students, families, and educators
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-8 students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted therapy goals focused on academic and functional skills
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Adapt therapy techniques to suit in-person, teletherapy, and home-based learning environments
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Assist with transition planning and interventions to maximize students’ educational access
