School Occupational Therapist | Machesney Park, Illinois

As a W-2 employee, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week across two school sites (one site per day), providing essential OT services with minimal daily travel. You’ll primarily support students in general education and resource classrooms, with some involvement in self-contained special education settings. This role is designed for an upcoming school year and is perfect for professionals who thrive in dynamic academic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students based on individualized goals.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student success.
- Offer services across two sites, focusing on one location per day.
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois.
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations.
- Proficiency in sensory integration and documenting student progress.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
