Applicants will need active Occupational Therapist credentials for Georgia and strong experience working with diverse age groups in a school environment. This role centers on the supervision of COTAs, so prior leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience is highly desired.
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license or certification in Georgia
- Background in school-based OT, supporting K-12 students
- Experience or interest in supervising and collaborating with COTAs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered services
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted OT services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
- Oversee and support COTAs, ensuring compliance and excellence in care
- Develop intervention strategies, document progress, and participate in team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Design engaging and effective therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
