Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current OTR/L (Registered Occupational Therapist) license; OTA credentials are not accepted for this position
- Experience working with a K-12 population in a school setting is preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP processes and school therapy best practices
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseload and school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across K-12
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions to support student participation and success
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Communicate progress and needs with parents, caregivers, and school staff
