Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Georgia Occupational Therapy license and GaPSC certification (both required).
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Background in supporting students with disabilities is advantageous.
- Ability to provide services onsite only.
- Completion of all required clearance documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to two students, dedicating 30 minutes weekly per student as outlined in IEPs.
- Assess and address fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills impacting classroom participation.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and special education teams to implement effective strategies and accommodations.
- Consistently monitor student progress, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Ensure all service delivery aligns with IEP mandates and regulatory guidelines.
- Engage in regular team communications regarding student needs and progress.
