Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC Certification (both required)
- Experience in a school-based setting is a strong plus
- Background in working with students with disabilities preferred
- Ability to provide in-person therapy services onsite
- Clearance documentation for working with students
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct OT services to two students in grades 5 and 6, in alignment with IEP requirements
- Provide 30 minutes of occupational therapy per week for each student
- Assess and address fine motor skills, sensory needs, and daily functional participation within the school environment
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, special educators, and the broader school-based team
- Offer expert recommendations on accommodations, modifications, and strategies for classroom success
- Monitor progress, document services, and maintain open, professional communication regarding student needs
- Ensure compliance with IEP mandates and local/state regulations
