In this role, you will:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy to two students in 5th and 6th grades, providing 30 minutes of service each week per student as outlined in their IEPs.
- Assess and address students’ individual needs in fine motor development, sensory processing, and functional school skills.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other staff to develop strategies and accommodations enhancing students’ access to instruction.
- Monitor students’ therapy progress and maintain detailed documentation in line with regulatory standards.
- Actively communicate and partner with the school team to ensure comprehensive support.
- Uphold all requirements for service delivery, ensuring compliance with IEPs and applicable regulations.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should have:
- A valid Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC Certification (both required).
- Experience working in school settings (preferred).
- Background serving students with disabilities (preferred).
- Ability to provide onsite services only and willingness to complete all required clearance documentation.
