Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, IEP development, and managing diverse caseloads
- Ability to adapt interventions for elementary and middle school students
- Effective communication and teamwork with educators, families, and support staff
- Organizational proficiency to manage documentation and scheduling efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy (individual and group) tailored to each student’s learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success throughout their school day
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and recommendations with families and teams
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and comply with all state and district guidelines
- Flexibly adapt service delivery, as caseload assignments may include both elementary and middle school students
