What You’ll Bring:
- Active occupational therapy license in North Carolina
- Experience working in a school environment (preferred: OT-specific school-based experience)
- Familiarity with ECATS documentation and platform
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized intervention plans
- Professionalism and adaptability throughout the academic year
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing evaluations, direct therapy, and consultative services for students with IEPs and 504 plans
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Supporting staff and families with strategies and resources to promote student independence
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed across a diverse caseload
Additional Details:
- Assignment runs approximately from August 10, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week
- Interviews are being conducted virtually over Zoom prior to official offers (anticipated after July 1st)
- School site/assignment location will be determined prior to start
