Desired Qualifications:
- Active and clear North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Previous experience as a school-based OT, supporting educational goals and student access
- ECATS platform proficiency
- Skilled in assessments, IEP participation, and sensory-motor interventions
- Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, flexible, and responsive to dynamic school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Complete thorough assessments, develop individualized plans, and document student progress
- Engage actively with teachers and educational teams to support student participation and foster learning
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocacy for OT services
- Guide classroom staff and caregivers on strategies and accommodations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
