Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license
- Prior experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
- Passion for empowering students of all backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet varied student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations of students referred for OT services
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy in one-on-one and small group settings
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, ancillary staff, and families to support integrated learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing effective support strategies
