Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- Demonstrated school-based occupational therapy experience
- Comfortable and effective working in urban educational settings
- Willingness to obtain all necessary Pennsylvania clearances
- Middle school experience strongly preferred
- No COTAs for this position
- Ability to manage multiple sites if required
- Must submit licensure details with application materials
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT services to middle school students, fostering increased independence and academic engagement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate IEP goals and related services
- Utilize creative, individualized interventions to help students develop fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
- Communicate effectively with staff and families to ensure student progress and well-being
- Maintain accurate service documentation and adhere to all professional and legal requirements
