Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience supporting children in school-based and/or home health settings
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
- Proficient in assessments, goal-setting, and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Ability to manage a caseload, maintain documentation, and adhere to best practices in pediatric therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ functional abilities and needs
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and evidence-based interventions
- Deliver therapy sessions in both school and home environments as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and team members to integrate strategies into all areas of the student’s life
- Document progress, adapt interventions, and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current with professional standards and continuing education requirements
