What We’re Seeking:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with active credentials for the state of Minnesota
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of relevant assessments, IEPs, and individualized intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to students’ educational needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to IEP meetings
- Deliver direct, consultative, and collaborative services as needed
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records according to state and district guidelines
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and adaptive strategies
- Work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student participation
- No COTAs are involved in this position; independent OT practitioners only
