Essential Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Minnesota.
- Prior experience working in school-based settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to support diverse student needs and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, develop measurable goals, and implement therapy interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Maintain clear documentation and progress reports while adhering to school and professional standards.
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster optimal learning environments.
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide staff training, and offer recommendations to facilitate student participation and success across school activities.
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of school populations, managing caseloads and maintaining flexible scheduling as needed.
