What you bring to the table:
- An active Minnesota license as an Occupational Therapist is required
- Previous experience working in a school environment is highly valued
- Comfort and enthusiasm for serving students at varying developmental levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Adaptability to manage a caseload and meet required documentation timelines
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and deliver individualized or group therapy in alignment with IEP objectives
- Support students in managing classroom routines, motor skills, self-care, sensory regulation, and adaptive behaviors
- Consult with educators and support staff to modify classroom strategies and provide professional guidance
- Maintain accurate records and participate in case conferences and IEP meetings
- Track student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and communicate achievements to families
