Step into an impactful role as a contract Occupational Therapist, working onsite with a dedicated caseload of 30 students near Minooka, IL. In this school-based setting, you’ll use your OT expertise to help students achieve greater independence, improve their functional skills, and access their education to the fullest. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through 5/28/27, offering a steady 35-hour-per-week schedule.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Illinois OT license required
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Familiarity with state and district documentation standards
- Any additional state- or district-mandated certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 30 students
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Develop and execute individual and group treatment plans targeting motor skills, sensory integration, and self-regulation
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Consult with staff and families to support student success in the school setting
- Adapt materials and recommendations to meet each student’s specific needs
